AI Learning

Built on Cutting-Edge and World Leading AI Learning Research

Our platform isn’t just powered by AI - it’s built on the latest research in how people learn with and through generative artificial intelligence.

Drawing from educational psychology, learning sciences, and evidence on effective AI-mediated instruction, we design every feature to support meaningful sense-making, reasoning, and deep engagement rather than surface-level interaction.

This research foundation ensures that AI becomes an intelligent partner in learning  scaffolding student thinking, prompting reflection, and aligning with proven pedagogical principles.

Built by Expert Researchers in Psychology, Didactics, Pedagogy, and AI — Join Our Research Community

We collaborate with leading experts in psychology, didactics, pedagogy, and AI to continually refine how our system supports teaching and learning.

By bringing together diverse perspectives on cognition, instructional design, and machine intelligence, we build tools that reflect both how students learn and what educators need to teach effectively.

We invite educators, researchers, and innovators to join our active research community, contribute insights, and help shape the future of AI-augmented education.

Example of Research: Publication “Beyond the ‘Wow’ Factor…”

The study “Beyond the ‘Wow’ Factor: Using Generative AI for Increasing Generative Sense-Making” demonstrates that a theory-informed GenAI chatbot like ChatTutor can outperform standard generative AI in enhancing educational outcomes.

In two controlled experiments - one with university students and one with secondary students - ChatTutor significantly improved students’ conceptual knowledge, enjoyment, trust, and intentions to engage with learning compared to both generic AI and traditional study conditions.

These results highlight the value of designing AI tools around generative learning principles rather than generic conversational abilities, showing that AI can support deep, meaningful understanding when aligned with educational theory.
